PILOT SPRAY GUNS & SPRAYING EQUIPMENT
The Pilot Spray gun is an indispensable tool in every industrial scene. It is the key component in a finishing system. It is a precision engineered tool with very close tolerances designed for a specific application.
Pilot Spray guns come in a wide range. Each is designed and suited for only a certain, defined range of jobs. The spray guns fall under two broad categories as per their components, working mechanism and use. The first is the Pilot range of gravity feed guns with cup location on the top. These guns have the capacity to perform major spray jobs. The second is the Pilot suction feed gun, which comes in only one model. This gun is for larger production application like ship, boiler, etc. So, for virtually any spray job, you have a Pilot spray gun to meet your specific requirements.
PILOT LEADERS IN THE ARENA OF SPRAY GUNS
The Manik Group, manufacturers of Pilot Spray Guns, have been the industry leaders for decades. An attribute, of course, to its consistency in manufacturing high quality spray guns for a wide range of spray applications.
Adding to the superior qualities of Pilot Spray guns is their ease of use. Every Spray gun is carefully designed keeping the convenience of the user in mind. |
RELIABILITY YOU CAN COUNT ON
Pilot Spray Guns meet the demands of the highest quality spray finishing applications. Light and compact with larger knurled adjusting knobs and easy pull triggers for increased flexibility, they are perfectly balanced, providing even distribution for long continuous operations. |

PILOT SPRAY GUN TYPE 59
Pilot Spray Gun Type 59 with 0.57 liter Gravity Feed Cup:
It is supplied with a standard fluid nozzle having 1.6 mm bore and appropriate Needle/Air Cap set up, suitable for spraying medium to heavy viscosity materials at a relatively low pressure. It consumes about (5 to 7 c.f.m. at 40/50 p.s.i.) 140 to 200 liters per minute at 2.80 to 4.20 kgs./sq. cm. depending upon the type of material. It is ideal for spray-painting of motorcar bodies, refrigerators, machinery, etc. Its perfect balance, comfortable handle and trigger action make it very easy and non-tiring to operate. Round to fan spray of pattern can be easily controlled by a knob on the left. |
PILOT SPRAY GUN TYPE 64-M
Pilot Spray Gun Type 64-M with 0.34 liter Gravity Feed Cup:
Type 64-M is a lightweight Gravity Feed Spray Gun designed to meet the need that exists for spraying paint on articles of medium size. It is supplied with a standard fluid nozzle having 1.5 mm bore and appropriate Needle/Air Cap set up, suitable for spraying light to medium viscosity materials at a relatively low pressure. It consumes about (4 to 6 c.f.m. at 30/43 p.s.i.) 115 to 117 liters per minute at 2.10 to 2.80 kgs./sq. cm. depending upon the type of material. It is ideal for finishing gas stoves, radio cabinets, electrical equipments, sports goods, typewriters, motors., etc. Round and fan patterns can be adjusted by the turn of the Air Cap. |
PILOT SPRAY GUN TYPE 68-S (image not currently available)
Pilot Spray Gun Type 68-S with 0.14 liter Gravity Feed Cup:
Type 68-S is a small and lightweight Spray Gun suitable for spraying light viscosity material. It permits the most exquisite blending and shading to be done either freehand or through stencil.
It is supplied with a standard Fluid Nozzle having 1 mm bore and an appropriate Needle/Air Cap set up. This Gun sprays only round conical spray and produces exceptionally fine atomization coupled with accurate and easy trigger control.
It is ideal for decoration of fabrics, pottery, posters, show cards, dolls, toys, statues, novelties, lacquering and varnishing on small articles. |
PILOT SPRAY GUN TYPE P-70
Pilot Spray Gun Type P-70 with 1 liter Bottom Feed Cup:
Type P-70 is a high speed production type Spray Gun which is most effective for coating on large industrial finishing jobs such as on automobiles, ships, constructions, etc. where speed is of paramount importance.
It is supplied with a standard fluid Nozzle having 1.7 mm bore and an appropriate Needle/Air Cap set up, suitable for spraying medium to heavy viscosity materials on large industrial jobs. It consumes about (6 to 8 c.f.m. at 45/50 p.s.i.) 170 to 225 liters per minute at 3.15 to 4.20 kgs./sq.cm.
It can be easily and rapidly varied from round concentrated pattern to a wide fan pattern by means of Spreader Adjustment Screw provided at the back. |
PILOT SPRAY GUN TYPE P-80
Pilot Spray Gun Type P-80 with 0.75 liter (27 oz) Feed Cup:
Type P-80 has been designed for industrial uses, of continuous painting of fairly large surface items like refrigerators, cupboards, machines, etc. It is equipped with 0.75 liter Top Feed Cup.
The Type P-80 Spray Gun is supplied with standard nozzles (Fluid Tips) having 1.6 mm bore and appropriate Needle/Air Cap set up. It is to be connected to a uniform supply of compressed air at pressure of from (35 to 70 p.s.i.) 2.5 to 5 kg./cm depending on the kind of paint to be used and the type of job to be painted. The spray produced can be varied from a round spray to a wide fan pattern by means of the spreader control valve. |
PILOT FOUNDRY GUN
These are its three applications:
1) As an air gun for blowing out moulds and patterns, etc.
2) As a spray gun for applying Foundry liquid dressings (Moldcote, Terracote etc.) and partings (Separol, etc.)
3) As an agitator for dressings that tend to settle out.
Each change of operation is easily achieved by a simple finger and thumb action as shown in the diagrams. for producing a really fine spray the T.A.-76 Gun is recommended for the Foundry dressing h1oldcote, Terrapaint, Flamco, Terra-Powder Dycote, Hardcote, Separol & Chilcote. |
PILOT AIR BLOW GUN
Pilot Air Blow Gun has a well-proportioned, comfortable pistol grip, removable Nozzle and connection nipple and quick easy trigger action. It is fitted with a non-leak Air Valve and can be used on high and low pressure. Pilot Air Blow Gun is a sturdily constructed air dusting gun designed for use on compressed airline to blow away dirt, dust and chips, to blow moisture out of joints and crevices before painting, to clean gasoline and oil lines, to remove shavings from machines, to clean moulds on plastic presses, foundries and for numerous other uses. |
PILOT OIL SPRAYING GUN
Pilot Oil Spraying Gun is specially designed for applying oil or lubricant to automotive equipment requiring finely atomized spray. The Nozzle arrangement is of the internal atomization type. The atomizing air is led through a central tube to the inner Nozzle, while the oil passes through the annular space between the inner and outer tubes to the liquid cap. The outer Nozzle can be rotated to direct the spray up, down or to the side. The degree of atomization can be adjusted to light or heavy by turning the knurled locking nut. Pilot Oil Spraying Gun requires about 3.5 c.f.m. at 50 p.s.i., depending upon the viscosity of the oil or lubricant. |
